Shipping policy


At Apex Steering, every steering wheel is built to order. Our delivery process reflects the bespoke nature of our products and the high standards we maintain.

Production & Lead Times

All steering wheels undergo a custom production process before being shipped to us for final inspection.

The total estimated timeframe is approximately 21–28 working days from the date of order.

Please note:

  • Timeframes are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.

  • Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.

  • Production schedules may vary depending on specification, supplier workload, and seasonal demand.

If your vehicle is found to be incompatible with your selected specification, we will notify you prior to production and issue a full refund.

If any unexpected delays occur — including peak seasonal demand, supplier shutdowns, factory closures, or logistical disruptions — we will inform you as soon as possible.

Final Dispatch

Once your steering wheel arrives with us, it undergoes a final quality inspection.

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days via a 24-hour tracked delivery service.

Tracking details will be provided once your item has been shipped.

International Orders & Customs

For customers outside the United Kingdom:

  • Import duties, VAT, taxes, and customs charges may apply depending on your country’s regulations.

  • These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Apex Steering is not responsible for customs delays once the parcel has entered your country.

We recommend checking local import regulations before placing an order.

Failed Delivery & Return to Sender

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete.

If a parcel is returned due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address

  • Failure to accept delivery

  • Failure to pay customs charges

  • Multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts

In such cases:

  • Re-shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

  • Original shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

  • If the customer chooses not to have the item re-shipped, the order will remain subject to our Custom Product Policy and will not qualify for a refund once production has commenced.

Risk & Responsibility

Responsibility for the steering wheel transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the courier. Once marked as delivered, Apex Steering cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery confirmation.
